As the month of March marches off into the distant past, the current events of the day demand our attention, but often we see the events as we would view a train passing by and traveling on the seemingly endless tracks across the horizon, not to be seen again. However, some events in history are not easily forgotten or dismissed. These are the momentous events, the turning points in history that altered humanity’s course out of the realms of fear and ignorance to a new pathway that eventually turned into a major highway into greater human achievement and clear advancement into another level of maturity for all of humanity. We are living in such a time.
Sometimes, there are insightful people who see the ‘train’ moving in the wrong direction, or they see that the tracks may be inadequate to transport ‘human cargo’ to better destinations beyond the temporary constructs of fear and ignorance of the age. Sometimes, there are brave and very brilliant people who see more clearly than the rest that the ‘train’ is not on a correct course to be healthy for the advancement of humanity and other living things on the planet. Those Founding Fathers from long ago who stood their ground on Lexington Green or those who diligently fought at Gettysburg, or who suffered in silence as they crossed a continent seeking a better life, or who shed blood defending Freedom in wars against tyranny, are those who made a difference in the direction humanity took in the moments they were alive. We are living in such a time now
It may be hard to believe for many, but the time in which we live is one of the most significant and unique moments in human history thsu far. What people decide to do, or not do, will create the real turning point of humanity’s future destination. As Thomas Paine wrote, it is “a time that tries men’s souls.” It is tragically sad for those who are asleep, or for those who have gone into hiding in a closet of denial of any personal responsibility in such a time as this. But for those who have the capacity, those who have eyes to see, or ears to ‘hear the call,’ it is a time that Almighty God is working through those who will permit Him to work through them for the sake of the advance of goodness. There have been many in history who have put aside their egos, or their personal importance, or who removed the chains of fear and ignorance, and fought for freedom or stood for goodness at the risk of their lives.
The Coalition for a Principle Republic seeks to support those who are awake, those who have arisen to take responsibility for making a positive and substantial difference in the promotion of freedom and goodness and the advancement of personal and public virtue. The newsletter is one way of promoting the ideals, principles, and values that support freedom and the individual rights given to humanity by God. The CPR seeks to support those who promote Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of personal and public virtue in this nation and throughout the world.
Starting from the last edition, we are offering the CPR section on the top of the many aggregate sections, in order to shine a spotlight on member organizations or affiliates or allies and actions they are committed to in this time. Those organizations that are putting into practice the ideals,
principles and values that we hold to be true is of critical importance. Such groups and their activities need to “bubble up to the surface” of our editions. Other aggregate sections still remain, but the actions of our linked-up organizations are believed to be so significant in the battle to restore our nation to its principled foundation.
This is in alignment with the CPR Lifeline Advisory continuing forward in 2023 to promote the genuine ideals, principles, and values that were sought by the founding generation. However, new patriots are awakening each day, and our intent is to help in that awakening by tethering it as much as possible to those Judeo-Christian ideals, principles, and values that generations of Americans have sacrificed for in order to substantiate them in the world. The CPR is willing to work with other Christian, patriot, and conservative organizations as they mobilize to respond to the clear and present danger to our Republic. Currently, there are well over a dozen NGOs working together, and many more that are affiliated with CPR or our individual member groups.
The original words of guidance from Heavenly Father in establishing CPR were to reestablish covenant with Him, to establish and continually enhance the lines of communication with Him and one another, and to establish community in the process of working together on endeavors and projects worthy of investment. “The intent was also to stimulate and support leadership and activism aimed at exercising those God-given rights to be able to retain our Constitutional Republic and to restore America as “One Nation Under God.”
In reference to the perspective of God-given rights, I ran across an article in Psychology Today entitled: “The Danger of Claiming That Rights Come From God.” The title speaks volumes from the context of what the writer, David Niose, president of the American Humanist Association, would likely characterize as deeply disturbing. Yet, after reading this individual’s perceptions of reality, it is rather he who seems disturbing – or disturbed - and dangerous to those guaranteed rights originating from God.
Individuals with such anemic spiritual awareness can do great harm to a Free Republic because they seem inclined not to protect those God-given rights. A limited type of perception such as Niose exposes about himself in the article are not truly convincing. It says more about the writer than what he is intending to portray as truth. Not only does it smack of incredible arrogance and a much inflated ego, it reveals an easy remedy to the danger. The ‘solution’ to his concerns is to simply be export the man and his ideas to a totalitarian state in which rights come from the government. It would likely mollify his grave concerns, and it would limit the mental pollution being spewed upon the faith - filled people of a free Republic.
Despite the pettiness of Niose, our first article is one dedicated to James Madison, the Father of the US Constitution as he was born in the month of March, So, before this month disappears over the horizon, we give recognition for Madison’s commitment to individual God-given rights in the Bill of Rights. I offer an article written a while ago titled, “A Radical Concept of God-Given Rights!”
The second entry is not an article, but it is a fundraising letter from Kristin Hawkins, the leader of the Students of America for Life. We had another less timely article we were going to use in this edition, but as I read Kristin’s appeal last night. I felt it needed to be shared with readers from our audience. Her letter reflects something that happened recently in Virginia, and it may be something that many readers may not be aware of. The fight on the college campuses today is absolutely intense, and our young people are on the frontlines of what I refer to as the ‘battle for the soul of America’ because it is such a fundamental fight.
We have been supportive of the Students of America for Life for a number of years and try as much as possible to keep readers aware of their efforts against the abortion Leviathan. So, if readers feel compelled to help these young people, so be it. If not, read of the incident that Hawkins shares and pray for their safety.
The third entry today is from one of our linked-in organizations and a proposal being put forth regarding the creation of a new holiday to celebrate the American Family. James Harrison of the Natural Family Foundation is promoting this idea and his contact information is included in any readers would like to get connected to this effort directly.
The Coalition for a Principled Republic exists as a grassroots alliance, or confederation, of organizations connected via common lines of communication and shared information and focused on promoting cooperative action on vital projects deemed compatible to organizations that seek to retain a Republic rooted in the shared ideals, principles, and values of our Judeo- Christian heritage. We actively seek alliances, so if readers belong to like-minded organizations, we request consideration as affiliated or partnered arrangements to work together. Divided the Republic could falter; but United, the “We the People” will stand!
A Radical Concept of God-Given Rights!

Long Live the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States of America! The Founding Fathers at the Constitutional Convention were radical in their ideas and in their actions. The very action of taking apart the foundation of the existing government under the Articles of Confederation and replacing it with a much different government was extremely radical. Even more radical was the reality that the men in Philadelphia wrote into the document, now called the Constitution of the United States of America, the process by which the document they had produced would include a genuine process of ratification by the people, as well as procedures for amending the law of the land.
After hammering out the Constitution in the hot summer months in Philadelphia, an even more radical concept that showed up was the audacity that the Founding Fathers had to admit their own fallibility by entrusting their finished document to the people in the various states to accept and approve or dismiss their hard work. For the most part, it was not acceptable to those in the ratifying conventions. Especially ironic was that while James Madison’s Virginia Plan was the more acceptable of the various proposed methods of improving the Articles of Confederation during the Convention, the newly written Constitution was not even acceptable to the leaders in Virginia who considered it for ratification. The primary stumbling block became the absence of a Bill of Rights.
In many parts of the new United States there was a serious outcry that without a Bill of Rights there would be no ratification. Even Thomas Jefferson, who was serving as minister to France at the time had expressed his serious disagreement with the absence of a bill of rights. Though in France, Jefferson had been regularly corresponding with James Madison during and after the Constitutional Convention. In a letter to Madison dated December 20, 1787, Jefferson stated that “… a bill of rights is what the people are entitled to against every government on earth, general or particular, and what no just government should refuse…”
Minister Jefferson, the one who had written in the Declaration a manifesto for freedom and the truth that the rights of human beings were derived from God definitely had a strong opinion on a Bill of Rights for the new government: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. – That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”
Jefferson advocated that such a bill of rights should include “… freedom of religion, freedom of the press, protection against standing armies, restriction of monopolies, the eternal and unremitting force of the habeas corpus laws, and trials by jury in all matters of fact…” In the end, Madison went back to work to draft such a document to ensure the survival of individual freedoms in a world filled with tyranny.
In essence, the eventual document produced by Madison became a cornerstone of freedom that charged the government with protecting American citizens from abuses of power that were regularly experienced within the majority of nations during most of human history. As a result of the Bill of Rights and the subsequent amendments, a powerful foundation was created for the development and advancement of freedom in the world.
In reality, it is the government established by the U.S. Constitution that permitted a greater number of the world’s peoples to have had access to more substantial individual freedoms than ever before in the history of humankind. When summed up objectively, minus all of the partisan political spin, and despite ideologically oriented intellectual criticism, the USA still shows up as a nation that places ultimate value upon freedom and liberty, and the Constitution is the cornerstone for that to exist in a very troubled and turbulent world. However in recent years, the bedrock document of fundamental freedoms Bill of Rights has increasingly come under attack, but not only from a broader base of direct assaults by international terrorists, but by men and women empowered by the government of the United States, namely elected “public servants” as well as their appointees.
It is indeed ironic when the very people entrusted to “support,” such as in the case of a President: “to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,” are capable of weakening the Law of the Land. Additionally, it is ironic that there are those within the U.S. government that have no intention of helping to defend the Constitution. Many Americans are confused by this, and many leaders within America seem paralyzed and unable to stand up against such deceit within the halls of our cherished government institutions. However, it is not confusing at all. It represents a division of America more fundamental than Democrat and Republican.
Throughout American history, there have been very serious political disagreements between the various political parties that played in the political arena. But within the last 40 years or so, the rise of those who primarily believe in the assertion that rights are derived from the government has grown exponentially. Unknowingly, in our lifetimes, Americans have increasingly entrusted people with positions of power that have no sense of humility or respect toward the God that was evident at the formation and foundation of the United States of America. If this is true, then this country is not existing in the manner in which it had been created – upon God-given rights.
It is definitely time for those who love God, who love this nation as it was created by the Founders, to reexamine their fundamental beliefs. It is the time for all good men and women to look deeply within themselves, and to decide whether they are willing to stand by and make feeble and inconsequential gestures about losing their freedoms, or whether they will take a stand to genuinely express their belief in these God-given rights. It is time to reaffirm our own willingness to sacrifice for the gifts of freedom and defend these precious rights. It is time to be radical!
Dear Dennis,
I’m still shaking.
Tonight at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) was one of the worst nights I’ve ever witnessed during all my years of traveling to college campuses and telling young people the TRUTH about abortion.
Dennis, we knew it could be bad going in. We saw on social media that Antifa was planning something.
But frankly, we hear threats before my stops at every campus.
And I have two security guards now (which I didn’t need just a few years ago).
Not only that, but our attorney talked to the school and local police beforehand.
What I walked into at VCU today was nothing short of a mob.
Three different police reports were filed and the Antifa presence was so intense that I didn't even get a chance to speak!
Both of my security guards got into altercations protecting me, my staff, and pro-life students.
And now I’m going to have to pay security for at least a week for our Students for Life campus leader Autumn — if not the whole rest of the semester.
Autumn has already been assaulted once tonight, has a swollen leg to show for it, and Antifa is ready to bludgeon her even more just for being pro-life!

Before I even walked in, Antifa goons began blocking pro-lifers from entering the room.
Then, they began shouting me down with chants like “LEAVE VCU!!!” and “F—k Pro-Life!”
Others were so vulgar I’m not going to bother writing them here.
Apparently one Antifa thug was so worried we were getting this on camera, he went after our cameraman in an attempt to shut down filming.
Our security guards stepped in to stop it.
And before you know it, three of our team members were assaulted.
VCU administrators could’ve stopped this if they cared.
But they don’t.
Neither did local police who ignored our pleas for help.
I guess they’re taking their cues from Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Only after the worst of it did they clear the room of Antifa and usher me and the other pro-lifers to a “safe room” where I was asked to leave.
My answer to them was no.
In fact, I told them they'd have to arrest me before I left.
I’m not going to be intimidated.
Not only that, but VCU policy is not to allow madness like this.
But pro-abortion administrators allowed me to be shouted down just because they don’t like the fact I stand up for the innocent.
That’s clearly something THEY would never do!
And that's why I'm going to demand to come back and force this University to protect our students and me!
Despite not being able to give my “Lies Pro-Choicers Believe" speech, I was able to answer any questions for a crowd of young people who are turned off by Antifa’s antics.
It’s often not your average student who is a closed-minded jackboot.
They’re curious. They ask questions. They’re willing to change their minds.
It’s a handful of radicals who are enabled by feckless campus leadership who are the problem.
And as soon as I leave campus, Autumn is going to be their target.
They’re going to want to make her pay for daring to stand up for her pro-life beliefs.
I’m worried for her physical safety.
So I’ve already told her that Students for Life will provide her with security for as long as it takes — whether that’s a week or for the rest of this semester.
Now, I just have to pay for it.
And that’s why I’m coming to you…
I hope you can help with a generous contribution after I explain what happened…
What scares me even more than these pro-abortion radicals and the leaders who enable them is if you and I do nothing…
… if you and I stop fighting…
… if you and I give up.
What will be left of our country if we do that?
What will we be leaving for our kids and grandkids?
The truth is, pro-abortion radicals resort to these tactics because they have nothing else.
They can’t win the argument. So they try to intimidate us into shutting up.
What if we stop being scared?
What if we convince supposedly “pro-life” politicians to stop being so scared?
We can defeat evil, Dennis. We can abolish abortion.
That’s what Almighty God put me on this earth to fight for. And I will never stop fighting.

Calling Americans to consider creating a new tradition: an American holiday celebrating the American Family.
The Natural Family Foundation, led by James Harrison, is calling Americans to consider setting aside a portion of time each year to be allocated for creating a new American family tradition: celebrating the American Family.
Mr. Harrison believes that whether one calls the family unit a natural, a nuclear, or a traditional family, the designation of the family unit must truly represent the never changing and objective "laws of nature" as noted by our Founders in the Declaration of Independence. As designated, it identifies the family to be at the core of the American national identity, if not the core reality of all the people of the world.
Upon this foundation of understanding, the Natural Family Foundation calls upon all Americans to establish an annual event for the purpose of providing a month-long holiday to acknowledge the importance of the family institution to the nation. Mr. Harrison believes in acknowledging the critical importance of the natural family unit and celebrating the value of the traditional family in the midst of the toxic climate of animosity and overt attacks on America’s children and upon the family across the nation.
Harrison believes such an effort provides a reasonable opportunity to uplift the value of the family from the traditional celebration of Mother’s Day through the current traditional celebration of Father's Day. The effort would essentially establish a new American holiday tradition from the approximate month-long period from Mother's Day to Father's Day.
In 2022, Mr. Harrison offered such a proposal to the City Council in Delaware, Ohio, and asked that they officially consider celebrating the importance of the natural family, yet the council took no action on the proposition. The Mayor of the city, with the silent approval of the City Council, chose to ignore the offer to recognize the importance of the natural family and actually considered the celebration of a man-made and unnatural exception to it. City inaction, stated Harrison, reflects the values of the government officials, but official support of the gay pride celebration last June, reflects upon ordinances instituted on the ever changing opinions of man, and as history records, emotionally-driven laws that historically have never worked out well for nations or their peoples.
It is said that for every action there is always a corresponding reaction, or is that one of those
natural laws? Harrison noted at the City Council meeting this year that the public schools in the city had likely been emboldened by official city endorsement of the gay pride celebration last June, now the schools offer pornographic books to the children of Delaware. The books and the literature actually depict and describe many unnatural sexual behaviors.
James Harrison believes that the Founders knew the critical importance of making laws and ordinances that conformed to the immutable laws of nature. He believes that "where there is no vision the people perish" and America’s foundation is built on one such vision – the value of the traditional, nuclear or natural family. Once again, Harrison has called upon his city government to support his proposal for this American tradition and is prepared to offer some banners to be hung on city property throughout the city of Delaware between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day based upon an official proclamation honoring the American Family.
The Natural Family Foundation is rebuilding the foundations of our nation by rebuilding the family. Natural Families are our strength to make America great again. Strong families in homes, churches and communities are missing in our society today. One man and one woman and their children in a true lifetime commitment; seemingly rare but needed to restore the foundation of our society, culture and strength of national unity.
Join the Natural Family Foundation to restore our nation. If you want to fix what is wrong in America, the family must be fixed first. Nothing else will work without the family foundation being restored to its natural state.
Whether it be the establishments of government, business, media, education, entertainment, or the church, if the family is not in its proper place and form, all of these institutions will be rendered hopelessly ineffective.
