This past Sunday, although it was designated Father’s Day, over the weekend and Monday the nation seemingly became a type of war zone as conflicts and confrontations broke out over the controversies involving the LGBTQ-etc. onslaught in the schools and communities, as well as conflicts over issues with Juneteenth. Coverage in the news was to be expected, and those taking up either side of the conflicts got some degree of attention.
This edition of our CPR - Lifeline Advisory has taken up a focus upon Juneteenth and offers a CPR perspective on the holiday through an article I posted in the Canada Free Press, but one can access the original article here: Juneteenth: Extending Liberty and Justice To All. This is a perspective that examines the historical foundations of Juneteenth in light of the Civil War, and I offer a message that is comparable to the message in our last edition focusing on D-Day. The reality of D-Day as a seriously determined effort to launch a third front against the NAZI war machine that had been strangling Europe up to that point in the war provides a real comparison. The effort was a massive effort and required a great sacrifice of human life – the hard reality of spilling blood for Freedom. However, much of the effort against the NAZI machine was designed to combat the disinformation of the NAZI propaganda machine.
Propaganda had been invented long ago – back in the Garden of Eden. It is just a fancy name for deceit and lying. American citizens are having to discern factual news from fake news and truth from fiction. Many are not good at it since Americans have been conditioned over the years by the master marketing methods to lure them into buying whatever they could be coerced into buying. Unfortunately now, the U.S, government has become the dispensers of propaganda and Americans are still in disbelief and denial. The celebration of Juneteenth is currently undergoing an attempt to manipulate its purpose and meaning and it is supported by the government and all useful idiots who fall into the deceit. It is rooted in Critical Race Theory.
So, we are coming full circle to return to what Americans faced during the turbulent times of our American Civil War – the genuine discernment required to distinguish truth from propaganda and the hard reality of the sacrifices that needed to be made – even spilling blood for Freedom.
One question that could be asked here would be where the NAZI propaganda machine received its impetus and inspiration? White supremacy? The brown shirts used to terrorize the population? Marginalization of the mentally ill as unfit human beings? Honestly, these historical actions can be traced to the tyranny of the slave owners and evolution of the Confederacy of the Deep South. There are obvious other sources, but the methods that the NAZIs practiced in Germany were practiced in the United States during the days of the acceptance of the institution of slavery. Propaganda was an essential weapon that secured justification and political capital for such dominion.
The contemporary debate over Juneteenth must be rooted in the hard reality of over 620,000 boys and men offering their lives in such a crucial war. It was a war within our nation, a war with ourselves. As Abraham Lincoln saw it, the war was fought to determine whether we were going to become a nation of Freedom or a nation that turned away from the founding ideals embedded in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Lincoln rallied Americans in defense of these foundation stones of our Republic. The sacrifice of thousands of good people from the Army of the Republic secured the freedom of the former slaves which is what Juneteenth is essentially about.
History-challenged individuals may have a hard time digesting the truth, and those intent on mentally manipulating others with indefensible historical fiction are harder to bring to surrender over their false narratives. Slavery would not have ended voluntarily in this nation if those slave owners were given a choice – which they were given by the Republic. Many history-challenged individuals would not know this. Much of history is basically ignored. It didn’t disappear from the texts, it is simply no longer studied. Yet, the pursuit of Freedom is precious in the United States and despite historically ignorant people, or perhaps deceptive people attempting to alter history, truth eventually emerges because diligent and honest people care about upholding the truth.
We offer two articles today, and as mentioned, the featured article in this edition is the one about Juneteenth. My article is current, as I wrote in for the holiday this year. It offers a reflection upon the essential realities of the origins of the holiday, not what the Progressives want to make folks believe about it in 2023. And segwaying into Progressives, the second article we feature today is from Michael Lewinski entitled, “The Folly of Progressives.” The title speaks for itself.
The CPR will continue to support those who are awake, those who arise, and who take genuine responsibility to align themselves once again to what God still hopes this nation to be. Our hope
is to help America again receive God’s guidance and to recover the stature of One Nation Under God, so our nation can once again promote and protect Freedom across the world.
The original words of guidance from Heavenly Father in establishing CPR were to reestablish covenant with Him, to establish and continually enhance lines of communication with Him and one another, and to establish community in the process of working together on projects worthy of investment. We hope our readers are with us in such a quest.
The Coalition for a Principled Republic exists as a grassroots alliance, or association of groups of patriots connected via common lines of communication and shared information and focused on promoting cooperative action on vital projects deemed compatible to organizations that seek to retain a Republic rooted in the shared ideals, principles, and values of our Judeo- Christian heritage. We actively seek alliances, so if readers belong to like-minded organizations, we request consideration as affiliated or partnered arrangements to work together. Divided the Republic could falter; but United, the “We the People” will stand!

Juneteenth: Extending Liberty and Justice To All

Today is Juneteenth, a holiday that not many Americans understood as a holiday possibly less than twenty years ago, but it was instituted just after the Civil War. Juneteenth commemorates the day of June 19, 1865, when slaves in Galveston, Texas, first learned the American Civil War was over and they had received their long awaited liberation. It was a day of celebration, with singing, dancing, and feasting. Although the American Civil War ended in April of 1865, when General Robert E. Lee surrendered the Confederate forces at Appomattox, in Virginia, news of the end of that devastating war took until June to reach Texas.
Juneteenth used to be synonymous with Emancipation Day or Freedom Day
The name of Juneteenth is what is known as a ‘portmanteau’ or a combination of two or more words comprising an entirely new word with a blended meaning of the words involved. A simple example would be the word “smog” which was created by joining smoke and fog. Juneteenth is the portmanteau of June and nineteenth; a single word which signifies a special day in the history of the United States. However, the meaning has been distorted and contorted, as old and new racist perceptions collide without much genuine comprehension surviving. Juneteenth used to be synonymous with Emancipation Day or Freedom Day. However, many contemporary racists want to replace July 4th, or Independence Day with Juneteenth. The driving intent is to further divide Americans and not to unite the people.
Unfortunately, without understanding the history of the holiday, ignorant people, or those with limited or selective awareness, pick sides in alignment with one stance or another. The roots of this divisiveness at the core of this controversy, however, are more emotional--specifically laden with resentment--rather than logical. Ignorance combined with a misguided perception of being wronged do not provide a healthy foundation for healing or repairing genuine injustice.
Genuine justice was dealt by the Civil War in April of 1865, when Robert E. Lee surrendered the Confederate forces at Appomattox, Virginia. Genuine justice was dealt with to a limited extent on June 18, 1865. The American Civil War devastated the United States. Over 620,000 men and boys died during the Civil War, and the majority of those who died were white men and boys who fought either for or against a Confederacy that would have preferred to retain the institution of slavery and an entrenched and politically powerful white aristocracy, whose structure of power that had existed from before the birth of the U.S. Chronology matters little to those who are riding on the remnants of resentment, or to those who serve an agenda of divisiveness.

Yet, in April of 1865, only days after Robert E. Lee surrendered at Appomattox, resentment claimed the life of President Abraham Lincoln, who had taken upon himself the mission of emancipating the slaves. Retribution against the POTUS who had eventually grasped the true purpose of the Civil War as he voiced it in his Gettysburg Address. Many Americans have yet to grasp the purpose of the Civil War, or Lincoln’s value in preserving the Union in such a divisive time. An American president gave his life so that others could obtain their God-given freedom. Despite the coup attempt at the time, the Army of the Republic continued onward to establish the conditions of the victory over the Democrat tyrants of the Deep South.
On June 18, 1865, over two months after this historic event, U. S. Army General Gordon Granger marched 2,000 Union soldiers into Galveston, Texas to secure the state and oversee procedures for the emancipation of the slaves. On June 19, 1865, while standing on the balcony of Galveston’s Ashton Villa, General Granger read the basic contents of “General Order No. 3” that essentially represented the practical fulfillment of Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation. The Army Order represented the force the Union needed to not only to emancipate the slaves, but it also was required to enforce the eventual military police state required to enforce compliance to the laws of the United States government under Reconstruction.
By what force did the slaves free themselves? None. Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom that was an extension of the practical enactment of Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation and later the Thirteenth Amendment passed by Congress. Union liberators who were willing to fight and give their lives that others, not even of their own race, would be able to finally enjoy the fruits of freedom in this nation.
The cost of Liberty is eternal vigilance. Without a genuine desire to preserve Freedom there are no guarantees it will last
Unfortunately, even that sacrifice was not enough. If it were, Rev. Martin Luther KIng, Jr. and his life-risking efforts during the Civil Rights Movement would not have been necessary. Principled leadership and sacrifice are almost always needed to obtain or secure and retain Freedom.
The cost of Liberty is eternal vigilance. Without a genuine desire to preserve Freedom there are no guarantees it will last, and if American Freedom is to be preserved, the effort demands a serious commitment of responsibility to protect the rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution. Without such a sense of sustained responsibility, lawlessness replaces law and order, and the rule of law disintegrates and civil society eventually falls into chaos. When the rule of law no longer matters to the leaders, the law is used to help entrench the lawless. That is when tyranny replaces Freedom. This was how Democrats ruled the Deep South. Now, they are attempting to establish such a system of domination across the entire nation.
Juneteenth can either be a celebration of Freedom from that brand of tyranny, or it can serve as a tool of divisiveness to usher in a new brand of tyranny rooted in Marxist doctrine and funded by Globalist Elitists. It is odd that Americans are not able to discern the difference between the holiday of Juneteenth viewed as a victory of Freedom over tyranny vs. Juneteenth celebrated for the opportunity to propagate and perpetuate the poison of resentment.

Juneteenth emerged as a genuine celebration of Freedom as a result of the eventual defeat of the Confederacy, another name for a tyrannical government, which came at great cost of human life. Additionally, due to principled leadership from Abraham Lincoln and the leaders in Congress who were willing to defend the Free Republic.
Today, Democrats use bankrupt educational ploys such as Critical Race Theory or the collective “white guilt” to weaken the moral standards of white people, and this is how they can manipulate public perceptions. It provides a substantial foundation for using Juneteenth as a divisive tool. A true focus on U.S. history in this time should be on the victory over slavery when white as well as black soldiers from the Army of the Republic defeated a Confederate Army that was totally intent on defending the institution of slavery at all costs--even death. Unfortunately, most people focus upon the problems caused by the enslavement of human beings. While Freedom Day deserves a more substantial place in the nation’s history, it should not be a tool for dividing the people. Freedom Day should be a day in which all Americans should celebrate Freedom. It should be a day in which all Americans could reflect once again on the nation’s true origins.
The Folly of Progressives

One of the most significant criticisms of Progressives is that they are often overly idealistic and unrealistic in their policy proposals. For example, some Progressives advocate for policies like universal healthcare, free college tuition, and a basic income guarantee. While these policies may sound appealing, they are also extremely expensive and difficult to implement in practice.
Critics argue that Progressives often overlook the practicalities of governing, and instead prioritize their ideological purity over actual results.
Another criticism of Progressives is that they can be overly intolerant of opposing viewpoints and divisive. While Progressives often position themselves as champions of diversity and inclusivity, they have been known to attack and demonize individuals who disagree with their views. This attitude has also contributed to a growing polarization in American politics.
Furthermore, some Progressives have been criticized for being out of touch with the needs and concerns of working-class Americans. While Progressives claim to be fighting for economic equality, they are often associated with elite coastal liberals who are disconnected from the struggles of the average American. This has led to accusations that Progressives are more concerned with virtue signaling and cultural issues than with practical economic policies that could improve the lives of working-class Americans.
Another criticism of Progressives is that they are overly reliant on identity politics and the politics of victimhood. While it is important to recognize and address systemic inequalities, some argue that Progressives have gone too far in emphasizing identity over shared values and experiences. This has led to a perception that Progressives are more interested in dividing people into different groups based on their race, gender, or sexual orientation than in building a cohesive and united society.
Finally, some critics argue that Progressives are too focused on criticizing and tearing down existing institutions, rather than working within them to effect change. Some Progressives seem more interested in tearing everything down and starting over than in working within the existing framework to achieve incremental change.
In conclusion, while Progressives have many admirable goals and have achieved significant success in pushing the Democratic Party to the Left.
