Tuesday Bulletin
FOUNDER’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday was a day dedicated to Martin Luther King, Jr., and rightly so, as he fought a battle for truth and righteousness and called Americans back to a stronger conscience in the presence of the evil governmental system he lived in during his time. However, today is the actual birthday of Dr. Benjamin Franklin, perceived, or portrayed as one who set up such a government. That is a partial truth that needs to be dissected to discern the truth of it from the deception. A despotic, autocratic government was not what Benjamin Franklin and the other Founders established at the time of the birthing of the Republic. A despotic, autocratic government, however, remained in the region of the Old South, after the creation of the government of “We the People.”
That government was based upon the slavery that had been installed in North America by the British monarchy back in 1619. The government of the United States of America was not able to be established until 1781, after finally throwing off the monarchical dominion. Unfortunately, too many people are sketchy about the history. It is not one of the more favorite subjects of students – even at any age. Unfortunately, those who do know the history are often too afraid to speak the truth. Many serious historians know the truth of history, yet many are afraid of losing their reputation, or their academic career. or their teaching credentials. It is quite similar to what Dr. Jordan Peterson is having to deal with at such a time as this.
Benjamin Franklin was a good citizen of the British Empire, yet his conscience would not let him participate in an unjust system any longer. He took a stand, even to the point of putting family second and loyalty to truth and justice first. Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a good citizen of Georgia, but realized the system of government in the Deep South bore no resemblance to the
government to the one Ben Franklin and the other Founding Fathers created. Many remember that his quest for the truth and justice can be credited with stimulating the conscience of the
nation to re-examine that evil governmental system he lived in during his time.
Even after the Civil War, even after slavery was abolished in the nation due to the victory of the Army of the Republic, an ancient autocratic governmental system was re-established right under the noses of “We the People.” It took over 100 years for the Civil Rights Movement to confront a corrupt government bearing little resemblance to the one the other Founding Fathers created. It is unfortunate that many American citizens do not realize the true foundation of the nation as it was created, but few Americans would even remember good old Ben Franklin as someone who was important in our nation’s history. Most remember him for his kite experiments with electricity, or his inventions. This fact may explain a great deal as to why ignorance of our roots can be so hazardous to our continued existence.
Ben Franklin, from humble beginnings, which he never forgot, became a colonial Renaissance Man. He became an entrepreneur and a businessman, a meteorologist, a scientist and inventor, a musician, a librarian, a humorist, an economist, a philanthropist, a philosopher, and a diplomat and statesman. But more than all of that, which is astounding, he was a patriot who helped in an effort the world have never witnessed before. He helped to create the “Land of the Free.”
In an attempt to remember Franklin, I offer today an article I wrote under a pen name while I was working for another Ben – Dr. Ben Carson. I had no idea at the time, he would leave his race for POTUS two months later. America seems so different even a few short years ago. It is uncertain whether Ben Franklin would recognize the nation today. I wrote this article in 2016 about a prophetic warning Ben Franklin offered at the end of the Constitutional Convention in 1787. Those words can provide a sober perspective for patriots today to understand what has happened to the nation over its relatively brief history within the community of nations.
The second article is from Jack Gleason about modern day politicians who either need to wake up and start listening to “We the People,” or burn their “business cards.” Gleason makes a case for “properly organized congressional hearings” with this new dynamic in the U.S. Congress. It is true that the majority of politicians in this day do not come close to the Founders in their day, but there are a few brave and brilliant men and women who still love this country as founded. They can be recognized by their willingness to live for the sake of the nation as opposed to living for themselves, or for their political philosophy, or for the power of their Party.
Additionally, to honor Franklin, we offer other angles by which to view him. One of those views is in a video dealing with Franklin as a writer. It seems to have originated in conjunction with the Ken Burns four part documentary on Franklin. We offer a video of a panel discussion on Dr. Ben Franklin that is quite enlightening.
And for those who realize that the Globalists are convening in Davos, we have some coverage on that concentration of the wealthy elitists across the planet. We also include a couple articles from writers we have featured previously, We offered the full article from Ray Di Lorenzo on “The Globalist Scourge” last week, and we provide a link to it in case anyone missed it. We also point out that A. Dru Kristenev’s latest article is on the ‘globalist scourge. Our limitations prevent us from posting the full version of the article today.
We hope readers understand that the Citizen Sentinels Network agenda is to help educate as many citizens as possible through the Citizen Voice. We also hope to empower those who have been awakened to take action to retain and restore our Republic. If the perspectives or views of our writers are worthy of others’ attention, please share today’s Citizens Voice with those who may need enlightenment. And, in light of all our aggregates and entries today, it is also our hope that readers would please take to heart what they read through this edition.
Again, we have initiated a way for readers to get more information on topics of real interest. As mentioned in previous editions, the Sunday Citizen Voice edition of LightWing Messages has gone into the Zoom realm. Our initial Zoom calls were held in the last weeks of 2022 and they met our expectations, so we are going forward with the effort in 2023. If there are readers who are interested in receiving the Zoom link to the call, please send an email request to this address: d.jamzon@gmail.com
We’ll have a discussion about the sermon we offered on Sunday from Rev. Martin Luther King,
Jr. If readers already have the areas of life he covered under control, it may not be important to tune in; however, if anyone desires to discuss his two main points about the values we need to recover in 2023, you just may want to tune in. There are many readers who are registered and already on the list to get the weekly Zoom link. Ben Franklin’s Prophetic Words Regarding US Survival
By 1_free_scot | 3:41 PM on January 16, 2016
Tomorrow is Benjamin Franklin’s birthday, yet Americans do not celebrate it officially as any major holiday, and it is not even considered as any kind of day of recognition whatsoever. Yet in his own time, Franklin was recognized as a Renaissance Man, and may very well have been one of the most important of all the Founding Fathers. In an exhaustive biography of Benjamin Franklin published in 2003, Walter Isaacson declared that Franklin stood out as “the most accomplished American of his age and the most influential in inventing the type of society America would become.” In his time or ours, however, he is never considered a prophet; but he left a prophetic warning that may contain significant meaning for the United States today.
Ben Franklin’s prophecy shows up through one of the most important statements he ever made. On Monday, September 17th, on the last day of the gathering of delegates in the historical assembly at the Constitutional Convention, Franklin offered a message. The delegates had deliberated on signing the document even to this day. Franklin was actually too weak to stand and offer his speech, so he asked James Wilson to deliver it. It is advisable to read the entire speech, but among other words that he shared these with his fellow patriots:
I confess that there are several parts of this constitution which I do not at present approve, but I am not sure I shall never approve them: For having lived long, I have experienced many instances of being obliged by better information, or fuller consideration, to change opinions even on important subjects, which I once thought right, but found to be otherwise…
In these sentiments, Sir, I agree to this Constitution with all its faults, if they are such; because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of Government but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered, and believe farther that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other. I doubt too whether any other Convention we can obtain, may be able to make a better Constitution.
Much of the strength & efficiency of any Government in procuring and securing happiness to the people, depends, on opinion, on the general opinion of the goodness of the Government, as well as of the wisdom and integrity of its Governors. I hope therefore that for our own sakes as a part of the people, and for the sake of posterity, we shall act heartily and unanimously in recommending this Constitution… and turn our future thoughts & endeavors to the means of having it well administered.
Franklin went on to fully recommend the Constitution to his fellow delegates, and in the end urged them to “doubt a little of his own infallibility, and to make manifest our unanimity, put his name to this instrument.” A bit later, all but three delegates came forward to sign the document. Nevertheless, Ben Franklin also offered the somber warning that “when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other.” Was this his prophecy of the inevitable outcome of the human efforts to obtain a “more perfect union” or ideal government?
If anyone is paying attention to the rapid and detrimental developments throughout the nation in the past decade, or if one looks clearly around the United States today, the layers of reality that are being peeled away reveals tell-tale signs of the kinds of fundamental corruption Franklin and the other Founding Fathers feared. Are the portents of the creeping tyranny that has infiltrated the nation that hard to recognize? Franklin rightfully explained that “much of the strength & efficiency of any Government in procuring and securing happiness to the people, depends… on the general opinion of the goodness of the Government, as well as of the wisdom and integrity of its Governors.”
In 2016, Americans need to ask themselves whether they can truly see “Goodness of the Government.” In 2016, Americans need to ask themselves whether they can truly see “Wisdom” or “Integrity” in our leaders or elected officials. It is quite obvious to those that are paying attention to the developments throughout the nation in the past decade, or those that look clearly around the United States today, that the fears of Ben Franklin and other Founding Fathers are close at hand.
There is a famous story about Franklin recounted by Walter Isaacson in his book on Benjamin Franklin that after the Constitutional Convention a woman named Mrs. Powel approached him and asked “‘What type of government have you delegates given us?’ To which he replied, ‘A Republic, madam, if you can keep it.’” Americans need to heed the call of the true Founders from across the ages to seek out the wisdom within those who self-identify as “leaders,” or to be clear in choosing the “leaders” with integrity. Although there are those who can repeat the words of Lincoln, as if they understood them, they often ring hollow when words like that do not match deeds. That is NOT integrity. However, the outcome of this year’s election will determine whether we are truly a nation “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and exposure to sunlight sends lowlifes running for the dark
Republicans, Don't Botch the Hearings
By Jack Gleason ——Bio and Archives--January 14, 2023
The majority of Americans have been hypnotized into inaction. First they were panicked by COVID, then shamed or coerced into taking unproven injections, and finally pacified into thinking “politics” is just a meaningless game where both sides are corrupt.
Their only choice has been to put their heads down and resign themselves to trying to survive day to day, paying the bills and raising their children.
Twenty Conservative Spartans, who stood firm
They know things are horribly wrong with this country, but are so confused with conflicting information on so many topics they don’t know what to think. So they just stop thinking.
These are all psychological tricks used to frighten, overwhelm, desensitize and demoralize the American public into submission.
Everything was going well for the Globalist/Elite/Left until their election fraud system proved insufficient for them to keep the House of Representatives. Their insurance policy, Kevin McCarthy, a swamp creature known for being easily swayed by lobbyists and donors, ran into the Twenty Conservative Spartans, who stood firm until he had no choice but to give in to their demands after 14 votes. His personal desire to be Speaker of the House was greater than his need to be in complete control.
While the new spine-enhanced GOP-led Congress won’t be able to do much more than delay the Biden administration and the Democrat-controlled Senate in the current session, they do have one big ace up their sleeves – congressional committee investigations and live hearings on TV.
These could be the catalyst that turns the tide of special interest control of our government and
exposes the corruption that is enabling our enemies and dismantling our country from the inside…
And a way to wake up the hypnotized American public.
The old system of stuffy congressmen grandstanding for five minutes to make the local news while the witnesses run out the clock
But it must be done properly. The old system of stuffy congressmen grandstanding for five minutes to make the local news while the witnesses run out the clock or repeatedly say “I can’t recall” will just confirm that politics has no connection with daily American life.
Democrats tried to make hearings interesting with their J6 kangaroo court, but the American public knows a sham trial when they see one, and no one tuned in. Americans care about their financial futures, their families’ health and safety and their children’s education, not persecution of innocent Americans who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Here are the questions Americans have…
What is causing inflation and why are energy costs so high?
Why is Fentanyl killing tens of thousands of Americans?
Why is our southern border wide open?
Can we trust the FBI and DOJ?
What is causing the spike in inner city crime?
Why are we letting China steal American data, patents and military secrets?
Where did COVID come from? Do the vaccines work? Are people really “dying suddenly?”
Why is our education system failing our children?
These are the kinds of issues that woke up soccer moms and independents to vote for Youngkin in Virginia and DeSantis in Florida.
A select committee on “Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party,” was recently announced. It will focus on ways to end critical economic dependencies on China. Notably it was approved in an unusually bi-partisan 365 to 65 vote. This is a clear indication that even Democrats are afraid to stonewall certain topics important to the American public.
New GOP House investigators need to choose the right topics and then present a clear and compelling final conclusion
The above is what Americans would tune in to watch. But a multi-day hearing aired on C-Span won’t work - people need to get their kids to school and get to work on time. So they rely on their information sources – local and national news, the Internet, and even late-night comedians – to let them know what’s going on – all of which are controlled by the Left using selected sound bites to spin each story their way.
The new GOP House investigators need to choose the right topics and then present a final conclusion that is so clear and compelling that people can tune in for five minutes and leave with a new understanding of the issue.
They need a “Perry Mason moment” where the witness is backed into a corner and his guilt is proven beyond all doubt.
In prior years, the rules were set by the Democrats. A new format is needed.
Witnesses should be interviewed in advance so we know how they will testify.
Whistleblowers need to be recruited and their safety needs ensured as well as people who have been forced into compliance through threats, blackmail or intimidation.
If people are unwilling to testify “the smaller fish” can be given immunity and forced to do so.
The final product is a one-hour hearing on live TV with one or two well-prepared Republicans playing the role of prosecutor. Instead of questioning one at a time, multiple witnesses can appear at the same table.
Jim Jordan is the king of cross examining witnesses. Just look at his exchange with Anthony Fauci in April of 2021. Imagine if Fauci gave a lame response to a direct question, and the whistleblower sitting next to him was asked to testify to the other side of the story.
This is “good TV” and something that the average American can understand in a five-minute sound bite.
Unfortunately, the investigations announced so far seem to be of interest only to Washington insiders…
The Biden family’s business dealings using information from the Treasury Department and former Twitter executives.
The “weaponization” of the federal government to examine Justice Department investigations, potentially including the current one into Trump and the FBI’s raid at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
Elon Musk’s “Twitter Files” exposing anti-conservative censorship.
The withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan by the House Oversight Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee.
The US-Mexico Border and impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and exposure to sunlight sends lowlifes running for the dark
House Ways and Means Chairman will investigate the Internal Revenue Service.
The Covid-19 pandemic and complaints about the nation’s response including Covid spending and massive fraud with PPP loans and unemployment insurance money.
Remember, most Americans don’t care that deeply about the Trump raid, Twitter censorship or government fraud. Congressmen think that since they’re interested in these “inside the beltway” topics, average Americans are too. These issues can be brought up later along with investigations into the J6 hearings, IRS abuses, congressional insider trading, our weakened military, election fraud, and the FTX scandal.
If the new-style hearings are a success, exposing the corruption in our government will make it impossible for special interest groups to come to Congress asking for more favors. Politicians who are captives of foreign actors will be unable to do their masters’ bidding because their involvement may be uncovered. Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and exposure to sunlight sends lowlifes running for the dark.
How will we get the word out, since we can’t expect help from formerly “fair and balanced” Fox News? The people of the United States will need to share the news about government corruption and foreign influence by ourselves.
The good news is that we have plenty of strengths - courage, willingness to work hard, video cameras on every cell phone, websites to load the videos, brave conservative news websites, and now we can use Twitter again.
Bullies are just cowards with bravado. Confront them and they will scurry back into the shadows. But we need the ammunition to fight them with, and properly organized congressional hearings could be just what we need.
Ben Franklin’s Prophecy Regarding the Survival of the United States of America
SAN JOSE, January 17, 2017— Today is the birthday of one of the most important Founding Fathers who possibly could have served as the unofficial president of the United States. Sadly, Americans have never honored this man as they have done for others less remarkable. But, Benjamin Franklin, in his time was recognized as a Renaissance Man. Born into a humble and large family on January 17, 1706, Franklin got his initial start in life as a printer in his brother’s print shop and newspaper in Boston. This foundation served as a basis for his industriousness and provided a livelihood that served him well many times throughout his younger days. But, he eventually outgrew such a beginning as he became a colonial Renaissance Man, as he became a an entrepreneur and a businessman, a meteorologist, a scientist and inventor, a musician, a librarian, a humorist, an economist, a philanthropist, a philosopher, and a diplomat and statesman.
To Walter Isaacson, whose exhaustive biography of Benjamin Franklin was published in 2003, Franklin stood out as “the most accomplished American of his age and the most influential in inventing the type of society America would become.” Amazingly, during the time of such an incredible career, never lost pride in his working class roots, nor his desire for freedom. He served his people and his country as a determined patriot for most of his adult life. Even at 81 years of age, one of his last official duties, and one of the most important, was to give the concluding remarks at the Constitutional Convention to urge the delegates to sign the document giving birth to the new nation.
One of the most important statements he has more relevance for America in 2017, than in his own day. However, in his time or in ours, he is never considered a prophet; but he left a prophetic warning that may contain significant meaning for the United States today.
Ben Franklin’s prophecy shows up through one of the most important statements he ever made. On Monday, September 17th, on the last day of the gathering of delegates in the historical assembly at the Constitutional Convention, Franklin offered a message. Consider the words, “…can only end in despotism…when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government, being incapable of any other.” Was this his prophecy of the inevitable outcome of the human efforts to obtain a “more perfect union” or ideal government?
If anyone is paying attention to the rapid and detrimental developments throughout the nation in the past decade, or if one looks clearly around the United States today, the layers of reality that are being peeled away reveals tell-tale signs of the kinds of fundamental corruption Franklin and the other Founding Fathers feared. Are the portents of a creeping tyranny that hard to recognize? Is the Party of Tyranny willing to concede the election to the GOP, or will they repeat history and attempt to impose a tyranny over the people as they had in the days before the Civil War?
Franklin rightfully explained that “much of the strength & efficiency of any government in procuring and securing happiness to the people, depends… on the general opinion of the goodness of the government, as well as of the wisdom and integrity of its governors.” It is wise to allow the machinery of a Democratic-Republic carry on the hopes and dreams of our Founders.

We continue to urge citizens to take ownership of the responsibility to keep the Republic!
Remember, an educated and enlightened citizenry is vital for our future. As it has been written:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 - KJV
The Citizens Voice provides information that the mainstream media hopes people don’t receive. Forward these newsletters to your friends and let them witness, first hand, that there is more than one side to a story. Then they will begin to understand the peril that our nation is in and be able to make informed decisions.
We are truly thankful for all of our readers who have chosen to assist our efforts in bringing the information and words of encouragement to all Americans we can possibly reach. We are truly grateful for the generous donations from our fellow Citizen Sentinels. It helps us keep going as a truly volunteer effort. Thank you so very much for whatever can be given.
"If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." ~ Samuel Adams, 1776
Ownership of our Republic is now the fight of our time! Keeping our Republic depends upon the genuine sense of ownership of the Land of the Free. Either this is our country, or it will belong to those who are actively seeking to take it from us. It is the same mentality that inspired someone long ago to express the sentiment that “All it takes for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing.” Efforts to take responsibility for keeping this nation a free Republic are organically occurring right now all across the nation.
