From the Founder…
Americans were drawn to the news of the California fires prior to the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as POTUS, as they started in early January. We are still watching this horrific tragedy play out. It is also becoming a real drama as people learn the fires could have been contained if better planning had been done prior to the ignition of such devastation. There is much to focus on – besides all the misinformation and deliberate disinformation spewing from the fire zones.
While much has already been written regarding the fires, while much blame has been assigned for who did or didn’t do whatever and whenever, the sad reality is that the regular people caught up in this catastrophe are the ones who are suffering most. While there are many theories - as well as conspiracy theories - to go around, there has been so much devastation it is difficult to handle for those at the epicenter of this disaster. Innocent people have had their lives, families and livelihoods totally disrupted. The good news is that it has touched the hearts and minds of many good samaritans who are attempting to help in whatever way possible. It is the common citizens who are rallying to lend a helping hand in such a time of need.
This edition of our Founder’s Focus offers a number of facts as well as perspectives on the California fires. Unfortunately, a number of pandering and self-centered, or Party-centric and Party-controlled politicians are attempting to leverage or mitigate what most of us can see via the media with our own eyes. Friends and associates have had their lives disrupted and this is not propaganda, so within the midst of this glut of information, we hope our readers could look for the humanity and kindness of good samaritans and place greater value on those stories in the mainstream media than those that appear as self-centered or selfish aims or objectives “to solve the problems.” The abuse of American citizens persists today by elected, or ‘selected,’ government officials. The fires reveal this truth.
The featured article In this edition of the Founder’s Focus is from a frequent contributor, A. Dru Kristenev who is originally from southern California. The article is: “Passing the Firefighting Buck to a Ghost.” Kristenev confronts the fall back excuse of leadership in California that the fires are due to climate change. The excuse passes the buck, or shirks taking responsibility, for the tragedies.
We offer a full array of links to articles as well. The tragic story of these fires, and the ones from before is not as cut and dried, or as simplistic as many spewing information would like people to believe. Before passing judgement, it is always a good idea to collect some relevant evidence.
READER RESPONSE REQUESTED!
Previously, several readers suggested that the “True U.S. History” classes that were taught before in the COVID time, would resume. We are going to ask all our readers if there is any desire to literally ‘see’ a return of those ½ hour video sessions dealing with America as a nation linked to the Providence of God. We would truly be interested to know if our readers are willing to tune in to a weekly podcast to get a post-education (most of our readers are graduates from some educational system in their home nations) education on God’s Providence moving beyond biblical narratives into the present. We are asking for a reply to this edition, as a new year’s resolution to arm yourselves with a unique understanding of U.S. history. Consider it as taking one step toward arming oneself with a history of America that is not currently taught in the educational system in the United States. Just type “yes, let me know more” and hit ‘reply’ and send your response back to us via the email from whom you received this newsletter. Or comment in Substack. We’ll send information on what the U.S. History course would cover. Based on the information provided, readers can decide if they are willing to take advantage of the opportunity. A lack of response will send a clear message.
We hope our readers take in as many of the features that may interest you. Don’t get greedy - only absorb what you can easily digest! Then be sure and share the articles and links to aggregates with those whom you believe would benefit from intelligent perspectives throughout the 2024 election year.
The only element not manmade, causing the violent devastation of lives and homes, is the incorrectly accused – “Climate Change.”
Passing the Firefighting Buck to a Ghost
A. Dru Kristenev ——Bio and Archives--January 12, 2025
If folks are looking for a credible answer to be provided by government mouthpieces about the utter failure of assigning resources to fight the infernos that are still sweeping through Los Angeles and surroundings… don’t hold your breath.
Elected and appointed officials are true experts at one thing, and that is devising fairytales upon which to direct blame, and sidestep responsibility. There are none better at fingering others, and they’ve had decades, and when speaking historically, centuries of practice.
Every chronicle of the past is packed with characters that display no character. The aftermath of the California conflagrations (whether referencing the Paradise, Wine Country, etc. or current Pacific Palisades/Eaton+ blazes) attest to officials’ inartful dance performances.
There is one formula for protecting one’s backside that officials like Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass are adept – professing innocence in the face of a larger entity they say shoulders the burden of guilt. The trouble is that the party to which they point to take the blame is, frankly, a ghost. The villain is nebulous and impossible to pin down with certainty because there is no evidence that it exists other than in the imaginations of mendacious politicians, scientists, and lobbyists.
Blaming the catch-all “Climate Change” for the origin and spread of devastating fires is the same as telling children that the tooth fairy left money under their pillow. In effect, denying personal culpability by naming someone or something else as the culprit.
Arson, water and electrical shutdown, infrastructure collapse, and looting are all results of acts of men, not some ephemeral power called Climate Change. Having said as much when the situation sprouted and became uncontrollable, this is offered:
#ClimateChange is the excuse to avoid responsibility for anything and everything. It's where one blames something that does not exist in order to escape accountability. @PubliusNV @MaryfromMarin @RealJamesWoods @geoffcaldwell @ChuckThePhoenix @ThinkTank4Us @Bwdreyer @thetoyman1

Was it climate change that gave firefighting equipment away to Ukraine? Did climate change not fill the reservoirs? What about diverting water to save a fish called smelt? Did climate change fire good firefighters for not getting the jab? Did climate change cut $20 million from the firefighting budget? The list could go on and on. Not only was it not climate change; it was done on purpose.

Climate Change is a convenient scapegoat for incompetent and criminal actions
And, where have we heard this before? Outgoing President Biden, under whose tutelage all these catastrophes have occurred, said the “utilities” shut off electricity to avoid further fire outbreaks, hampering LAFD efforts to fight blazes that kept popping up. Does anyone remember Maui’s devastation and total mismanagement of the (un)natural disaster? Much the same was professed then.
Climate Change is a convenient scapegoat for incompetent and criminal actions performed (or not, depending on one’s perspective) by flesh and blood individuals determined to avoid responsibility for the consequences their constituents are doomed to suffer.
Why is there an increasing number of wildfires over the last years, especially in areas that back up to recently designated “public” parks and national monuments? When I was growing up in Southern California, there was no such thing as Topanga Park that the Pacific Palisades community now abuts. We used to drive through Topanga Canyon to the beach, enjoying the view of ranches and homes scattered among the hills. Where are those long-established residences today?
The facts are that as these wildfires crop up in and around older communities across California (and other states), wiping the landscape clean of manmade structures, more land is being usurped under the guise of saving the environment from some Climate Change cataclysm.
More land is being usurped under the guise of saving the environment from some Climate Change cataclysm
The purpose is not hidden but publicly proclaimed by the Biden administration to fulfill the 30 x 30 government land acquisition agenda. Since the executive order to “protect” 30% of America’s land by 2030 was signed by Biden on Day One of his taking office, the White House is claiming 674 million acres have been removed from citizens’ hands for “conservation.”
Joe Biden was to come to California to announce the creation of two more national monuments equalling 850,000 acres just as these latest blazes were simultaneously sparked. Coincidental? That’s debatable.
Perhaps it could be considered suspicious how the Palisades, Eaton and other fires bordering national forest and monument land (like the San Gabriel Mountain monument that was expanded under Biden along with the Berryessa Monument) broke out soon after a state law went into effect restricting insurers from charging market rates for homeowner policies. As has been suggested by others, there will now be the daunting hurdle of obtaining permits to rebuild in tightly restricted zones – which was excessively difficult across much of Los Angeles County when I still lived there.
As much as USA Today fact-checked that no firefighting flights were impeded while Biden arrived in Santa Monica to announce the birth of his first great-grandchild, protocol for presidential visits precludes air traffic in the vicinity of Air Force One’s inbound travel and departure. LAX is only a few miles from Santa Monica and the fireline in the Palisades, so Biden’s delayed departure on January 8, 2025 probably would have affected vector air traffic to some degree.
The disturbing nature of these (un)natural conflagrations is how completely they have been burning through districts, leaving virtually nothing standing. Having witnessed numerous wildfires over the decades I lived in Southern California, it was uncommon to see such thorough destruction. Wildfires as fast moving as these have been would sweep across a landscape or community leaving half-burnt structures and hit or miss pockets of buildings and greenery partially touched by flame. What’s left by these fires, as well as what occurred in Maui and numerous recent Northern California blazes, are acres of charcoal and ashes.
But none of it is due to some enigmatic apparition government officials conveniently blame to circumvent responsibility for their life-threatening policies. The only element not manmade, causing the violent devastation of lives and homes, is the incorrectly accused – “Climate Change.”
