In My Father’s House Are Many Rooms
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well. In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
“Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves.
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it...”
In the midst of darkness, everyone appreciates light if it is intended to provide illumination of the safe path to move beyond the darkness into a fuller and more lasting dimension of light. As the good people move through this dark period of American history, and as people move through the dark bleakness in this world, they naturally seek light to show the evil that would seek to do them or their loved ones harm. However, the overarching purpose of the light is to reduce the dominion of darkness so that we can witness the practice of goodness in our midst. Of course that means we must be willing to initiate our practice of goodness for it to be witnessed. If we are not practicing goodness in our lives, and only impatiently waiting for it from others, it says much more about us than it does the others we are waiting for to make the first moves.
Our featured messages today are from a voice from the past and a contemporary voice that both shed light on our reality as children of God – brothers and sisters in the human family. The first message is from Jack LaValley, who has submitted messages to past LightWing editions, and his words offer a much broader view of our lives on this planet. Often, people are caught up in the day to day “rat race,” and primarily focused on current circumstances and our immediate surroundings. LaValley’s message is titled, “Let Go and Live Right,” and deals with issues of anger and rage within our society today. His perspective is perhaps more similar to Eastern religious traditions, but his words bring to mind the words of Jesus in the book of John about oneness and unity with Heavenly Father. The tragic reality of Christianity is that the body of Christ has divided again and again and again until it is now fragmented.
I firmly believe this was not Jesus’ will, nor is it God’s Will. It certainly does not resemble the Kingdom Jesus referred to in his teachings. Amazingly, a non-Christian also sheds light on this concept of oneness that LaValley addresses in his message. The second message in today’s edition is from Mohandas Gandhi – the Mahatma (“Great Soul”). It is actually a number of his quotations listed from a site featuring his wisdom. A link to the site is also provided at the end of the entry, and it is advisable for readers to check out some of Gandhi’s storehouse of wisdom. I am not sure many know that Gandhi was not a Christian, but he valued Jesus’ his teachings and his sacrifice on the cross. And Gandhi’s teachings inspired Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
As always, we hope our readers would consider all the messages in this edition meaningful, or relevant in some way, and if readers know others who might value the messages as well, please consider passing this newsletter on to those whom you feel would welcome it. Or simply, please receive it yourselves. However, as many readers may be aware, we at the Citizens Sentinels Network had suffered through various attacks against our communication efforts, and one just recently happened via the problems with distributing the Coalition for a Principled Republic. We have initiated an evaluation of our communication efforts and our options going forward. We are now more conscious of the contents of our newsletters. Much is happening in this Cosmic Battle that the world is immersed in at this time.
Part of the evaluation process is the survey we placed in last Tuesday’s Citizen Voice. Again, in this edition, readers are being asked to answer survey questions in order to help us re-examine and possibly re-invent ourselves as a relevant, responsive, and viable news source. If readers’ responses show that there seems to be little relevance to certain features in the newsletter, or to the newsletter itself, the handwriting is on the wall. If our newsletter is only relevant or valuable in our own minds and there is little value to readers, then there is no long term value to the effort being invested. On the other hand, if readers find value in the Tuesday newsletter, it may serve a greater purpose, and it may be worth the investment of time and energy and effort our various volunteers make on our end. There are only four multiple choice questions. It is not a test; there will be no grade at the end of the semester. 🙂 We ask that answers be honest; it will be most beneficial if readers are as honest as possible. Please help, and if you have anything to add as a comment, criticism, question, or suggestion, please feel free to offer feedback. Thank you.
Our Zoom calls are now being offered each Wednesday at 5pm PDT (6pm MDT; 7pm CDT; and 8pm EDT). This coming Wednesday, we are having another interview as James Harrison, founder of the Natural Family Foundation and radio commentator has agreed to share clear information about his efforts to create a month-long “Celebration of the Family” as a national holiday. We have provided information about his initiative in previous editions, and he is serious about this effort. He will be explaining the concept and explaining his progress thus far. Readers are reminded that Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday. If readers would like to partake in this upcoming Zoom call on Wednesday and get the information from Mr. Harrison, please reach out. Readers who are interested in receiving the Zoom link to the call, are asked to please send a brief email request to this address: d.jamzon@gmail.com
CSN LightWing Mission – Zoom call Wednesday 5/10/23 at 5:00pm PST
Finally, please note that the CPR newsletter mentioned previously will continue to be sent automatically on a regular distribution schedule twice a month for Citizen Voice readers. The next CPR newsletter will be posted this Thursday, May 11. As mentioned, if it is not appreciated, please let us know and we’ll remove your email address from the distribution list.
These words are being freely offered to you and are intended to shine light unto our paths, as it was written: “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 - KJV
May God bless all of our readers and all of their loved ones. May God bless America!
May we truly seek God’s Mind - He also sees what we see, and His understanding is truly more fully perceptive than ours. May we truly seek God’s Heart - He also knows what we face, and His view is much more fully loving than ours. May we truly seek God’s Will - He also knows the true path we seek, and His guidance along that path will provide the light we need to seek His Kingdom and His righteousness.
“Let Go and Live Right”

It’s hard to admit when one ‘s devotion and loyalty to an object or cause is shown to be misguided or wrong. It’s even harder if our fervent devotion spans multiple years or decades.
Handwringing and gnashing of teeth dominate many of our current social interactions. At least that’s how social media platforms, cable news networks, and television shows portray it. The picture is of thousands of individuals consumed with upset, anger, and even rage.
Why are people so angry and upset, even filled with rage?
Whatever the object of our devotion, the fulfillment of a promise or anticipated beneficial outcome is always operating the background. No one gets out of bed in the morning with the expectation that by pursuing cherished hopes and dreams their life will be worse off at the end of the day.
It is a delusion to place one’s undying hope and faith into an anticipated outcome that cannot be fulfilled. Eventually, you will have to acknowledge where things are not working out and be willing to change, or kicking and screaming, go down in stubborn denial.
We like to think we are the sole mover that shapes our lives for good or ill. The idea we are subject to other forces and influences beyond our control or perception flies in the face of the American Dream of” pulling oneself up by one’s bootstraps.” Like it or not, if other realities do exist and are influencing us, they are affecting us, regardless of our denial of their existence.
Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, Quantum Theory, and Bell’s Theorem of the 20th century, shattered previously held scientific concepts about the nature of time, space, and matter. It was no longer possible to accept the idea all objects exist as separate, localized, isolated entities, without any inherited connection with all other objects. Regardless, many in the 21st century still pledge loyalty to the doctrine of Scientism-the viewing of all phenomena in terms physical processes and what can only be measured through the five physical senses.
Citizens of the 21st century are challenged to gain a deeper understanding about what it means to live with the awareness of an inherent connectedness to everyone and everything. Religious and spiritual tradition over thousands of years, with varying degrees of success and failure, try to help people see this awareness as an essential key to individual and societal happiness.
Awareness of our inherent connectedness with the tiniest invisible subatomic particles to the largest stars in space billions of miles from earth, is the consciousness that needs to be cultivated.
Ask yourself: If I see my thoughts, feelings, and attitudes, having a direct impact on everyone I know—and don’t know— and every object that exists, how does this influence the way I live, move, and act in the world?
Why are people so angry and upset, even filled with rage?
Herein lies the answer: When I see the “other” as a separate, isolated individual, qualitatively different from me and having no impact on my life, this is how I allow anger, upset, and rage to manifest in my life. Whenever the other is not me, well then, it’s easy to dismiss, vilify, hate. That’s right. Even the “terrorist” is you. Even the political supporter you hate is you. Even the religion you condemn is you. Can you not see the folly of your tiny, pea brained thinking?
It's time to let go of our over-inflated sense of self-importance. It’s time to surrender to the fact you know extraordinarily little about the vastness of the cosmos, yet you want to run around declaring how great you are and how profound your thinking is.
Can you tell me where you were before you were born? Do you know where you will be once your physical body ceases to function? Do you know how life on earth began? Do you know the source of the intelligence permeating the billions of cells in your body, allowing you to breathe in and out, over and over again?
Do you want to see an end to anger, hate, and rage in yourself and others? Try this: Let go of your preconceived notions about right and wrong, good, and bad, righteousness and unrighteousness.
Embrace the one idea that guarantees continued happiness and fulfillment: You, me, and the other are all ONE. No separation. Everything is interconnected. Learn how to cultivate and experience this awareness more and see how your life changes for the better.
It’s the only object to place your undying devotion and faith in.
Make it your central life concern.
You won’t be disappointed!
You will find your happiness, forever!

The Gospel Of Love
By Mahatma Gandhi
Cohesive Power
THE FORCE of love is the same as the force of the soul or truth. We have evidence of its working at every step. The universe would disappear without the existence of that force…. Thousands, indeed tens of thousands, depend for their existence on a very active working of this force. Little quarrels of millions of families in their daily lives disappear before the exercise of this force. Hundreds of nations live in peace. History does not and cannot take note of this fact. History is really a record of every interruption of the even working of the force of love or of the soul. Two brothers quarrel; one of them repents and reawakens the love that was lying dormant in him; the two again begin to live in peace; nobody takes note of this. But if the two brothers, through the intervention of solicitors or some other reason, take up arms or go to law-which is another form of the exhibition of brute force – their doings would be immediately noticed in the Press, they would be the talk of their neighbours and would probably go down to history. And what is true of families and communities is true of nations. There is no reason to believe that there is one law for families and another for nations. History, then, is a record of an interruption of the course of nature. Soul force, being natural, is not noted in history. (HS, pp. 77-79)
Scientists tell us that, without the presence of the cohesive force amongst the atoms that comprise this globe of ours, it would crumble to pieces and we would cease to exist; and even as there is cohesive force in blind matter, so must there be in all things animate, and the name for that cohesive force among animate beings is love. We notice it between father and son, between brother and sister, friend and friend. But we have to learn to use that force among all that lives, and in the use of it consists our knowledge of God. Where there is love there is love there is life; hatred leads to destruction. (YI, 5-5-1920, p. 7)
I believe that the sum total of the energy of mankind is not to bring us down but to lift us up, and that is the result of the definite, if unconscious, working of the law of love. The fact that mankind persists shows that the cohesive force is greater than the disruptive force, centripetal force greater than centrifugal. (YI, 12-11-1931, p. 355)
Law Of Our Being
Brute force has been the ruling factor in the world for thousands of years, and mankind has been reaping its bitter harvest all along, as he who runs may read. There is little hope of anything good coming out of it in the future. If light can come out of it in the future. If light can come out of darkness, then alone can love emerge from hatred. (SSA, p. 188)
I have found that life persists in the midst of destruction and, therefore, there must be a higher law than that of destruction. Only under that law would a well-ordered society be intelligible and life worth living. And if that is the law of life, we have to work it out in daily life. Wherever there are jars, wherever you are confronted with an opponent, conquer him with love. In this crude manner, I have worked it out in my life. That does not mean that all my difficulties are solved. Only, I have found that this law of love has answered as the law of destruction has never done. (YI, 1-10-1931, p.286)
If love or non-violence be not the law of our being,….there is no escape from a periodical recrudescence of war, each succeeding one outdoing the preceding one in ferocity…
All the teachers that ever lived have preached that law with more or less vigour. If Love was not the law of life, life would not have persisted in the midst of death. Life is a perpetual triumph over the grave. If there is a fundamental distinction between man and beast, it is the former's progressive recognition of the law and its application in practice to his own personal life. All the saints of the world, ancient and modern, were each according to his light and capacity a living illustration of that supreme Law of our being. That the brute in us seems so often to gain an easy triumph is true enough. That, however, does not disprove the law. It shows the difficulty of practice. How should it be otherwise with a law which is as high as truth itself? When the practice of the law becomes universal, God will reign on earth as He does in Heaven…

Citizens Voice Survey
Here is the simple Citizens Voice survey for your consideration. We need help in order to make the most relevant changes to the newsletter.
