The Ten Commandments
Moses summoned all Israel and said:
Hear, Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in your hearing today. Learn them and be sure to follow them. The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. It was not with our ancestors that the Lord made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today. The Lord spoke to you face to face out of the fire on the mountain. (At that time I stood between the Lord and you to declare to you the word of the Lord, because you were afraid of the fire and did not go up the mountain.) And he said:
“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
“You shall have no other gods before me.
“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
“You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
“Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do. Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.
“Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
“You shall not murder.
“You shall not commit adultery.
“You shall not steal.
“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not set your desire on your neighbor’s house or land, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
These are the commandments the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more. Then he wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me.
When you heard the voice out of the darkness, while the mountain was ablaze with fire, all the leaders of your tribes and your elders came to me. And you said, “The Lord our God has shown us his glory and his majesty, and we have heard his voice from the fire. Today we have seen that a person can live even if God speaks with them. But now, why should we die? This great fire will consume us, and we will die if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any longer. For what mortal has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived? Go near and listen to all that the Lord our God says. Then tell us whatever the Lord our God tells you. We will listen and obey.”
The Lord heard you when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me, “I have heard what this people said to you. Everything they said was good. Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!
“Go, tell them to return to their tents. But you stay here with me so that I may give you all the commands, decrees and laws you are to teach them to follow in the land I am giving them to possess.”
So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Deuteronomy 5:1-33 (NIV)
Last Sunday’s edition of the LightWing Messages focused upon God-given rights. One of the more specific points of focus was upon the Ten Commandments God gave to HIs children, the Israelites. As mentioned in that edition, “our Founders were much wiser than the present crop of clever politicians and wanna-be tyrants” and they added a Bill of Rights to the new Constitution at the insistence of many - one pushing for such an addition included Thomas Jefferson, author of the concept of God-given rights in the Declaration of Independence. As stated in that edition: “The U.S. Bill of Rights enumerates our God-given rights… and secures those rights in the Law of the Land.” However, those God-given rights are now under attack. They need to be defended.
Such rights came through the heritage of thousands of years God had been working through the foundations established in Judeo-Christian history. So, it can be understood that the concept of such God-given rights originated in the Ten Commandments. Further, it can be concluded that such God-given rights were considered sacred by our Founders. Such rights are not normally viewed as rights, but they are viewed as “Commandments.” To the Hebrew people, these rules represented the Law.
Many view them as the “thou shalt nots.” However, if they are viewed as the laws of physics, it presents a different perspective. One can more easily grasp the purpose of why God gave these guidelines to His children. If one tries to defy the laws of gravity (and many have) quite serious consequences follow – some deadly – from such defiance whether that results from arrogance or ignorance. Still, many citizens are struggling with God-given rights because it is hard to comprehend rights from God if they have no comprehension of the existence of God. Thus, it follows that they would have a hard time grasping the Ten Commandments, let alone holding onto self-evident truths. Consequences will be reaped, regardless, just as consequences are reaped in defying the law of gravity.
This edition again focuses upon those God-given rights embraced by the Founders. Last week, our first message was an article that Pastor Earl Wallace and I collaborated on In April of 2019 that explained the “Biblical Basis of the Bill of Rights.” Today, we offer a message from Pastor Earl Wallace that addresses some of the same points we shared in that article. He has been preaching this message for a number of years. However, his message is critical for this time as it expresses a mindset that explains the basis of our federal government, and a means of measuring the effectiveness and value of such a government – especially when it is no longer rooted in the Judeo-Christian foundation. If the government of the people, by the people, and for the people, loses its roots and linkage to God’s Providence there are serious consequences.
Pastor Earl Wallace’s message is not one of doom and gloom, but his message represents the continuing call to bring America back to the strong foundation stones of the Judeo-Christian heritage upon which our government was established. His message provides a unique view of the Ten Commandments and their correlation with the Bill of Rights. The Ten Commandments
were not just the basis for government in the time of Moses, but it is a relevant for the American people in such a time as this.
The second message is from Dr. Richard Moss. He wrote his message earlier in the summer as readers will gather from the topic he addresses. His article is entitled, “Against the New Sodom and Gomorrah,” and as a Jewish father addresses the immorality rampant in the United States without fear. He takes a sober view of America in the new millennium. Dr. Moss is quite direct in that he sees the concentration and legitimization of immorality as a threat to our Republic. His view is that this threat can eat away the fundamental morals and values woven onto the fabric of our nation, so we must work to “...preserve this nation, its traditions, and way of life, for our sake and the sake of the world. Each of us must do what he can to salvage some remnant of the founding – athwart the demonic forces arrayed against it.”
We hope our readers enjoy this edition of the LightWing Messages today as well as the limited aggregated messages. Read, absorb and share, and practice what is within you. And we always hope readers would consider the messages in this edition meaningful, or relevant in some way, and if readers know others who might value these messages too, please help by passing this newsletter on to those whom you feel would welcome it. Or simply, please receive it yourselves.
And again we remind readers that our Zoom calls are continuing on each Wednesday at 5pm PDT (6pm MDT; 7pm CDT; and 8pm EDT). This coming Wednesday, we hope readers are able to join us for yet another interview – this time it is with Pastor Earl Wallace, whose articles and videos we have featured in past editions of Citizen Sentinels Network newsletters - in the LightWing Messages as well as our Citizen Voice editions. Pastor Wallace is the pastor of Liberty Christian Fellowship in Saratoga Springs, NY. Pastor Wallace teaches the Word of God through Episodic Bible teaching, which deals with whole passages of scripture. This method provides a full understanding of God’s perspective and prevents one from “cherry picking” scripture to remain “politically correct.” Check them out online: Liberty Christian Fellowship or at Liberty Christian Fellowship - YouTube
We look forward to Pastor awllace’s focus on the Biblical Basis of the Bill of Rights. We will also offer time for questions and answers and discussion on other religious freedom messages from our past Sunday’s edition. If readers want to partake in the Zoom call on Wednesday and hear from Pastor Wallace, please reach out. Readers who are interested in receiving the link to the Zoom call should please send a brief email request to this address: d.jamzon@gmail.com

These words are being freely offered to you and are intended to shine light unto our paths, as it was written: “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 - KJV
May God’s blessings flow into and through all of our readers and all of your loved ones today and may God bless America (she certainly could use His Divine Intervention!)
May we humble ourselves, seek His face, repent, and turn from wickedness - even if that may mean one’s failure to fathom the significance of the time we are living in, or to act in genuine faith and a sincere trust in God and in His ways.
The Biblical Basis of the Bill of Rights
By Pastor Earl C. Wallace
November, 2018
Man’s quest for God’s freedom culminated in what the U.S. Declaration of Independence calls our inalienable rights, which stem from the Ten Commandments. Let me explain what I mean.
Every “Thou Shalt Not” in the 10 Commandments is an inverted right!
As an example, when God explains how to show Him respect and how we should worship Him in Commandments 1-4, He is saying, “We all have a right to show honor and respect to Him in those ways.
When God says, we should not murder, sexually molest, steal from, lie to or about, nor covet one another’s things, He is saying that we each have a right not to have those things happen to us.
From the 9th to the 17th centuries people continually made progress in making the connection between the 10 Commandments and our inalienable rights.
In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson and the rest of the signers of that cornerstone document dramatically state people have “inalienable rights” that are “endowed” to them by a “Creator.” These rights also are called “Natural Rights” and are expressed in the Ten Commandments. This means:
As God explains how we are to worship Him in Commandments one through four, America’s Founding Fathers realized God is saying, “Everyone has a right to worship Him publicly in those ways.” This is why America’s historical buildings have Bible references carved into them in stone - by architectural design, not as the result of college pranksters sneaking around at night to place them there.
In Commandment Five, God explains that He wants honor to be the guiding principle of our families, so the Founding Fathers limited the government's ability to interfere with a family’s faith in God, and their personal desires for how they raise their children and how they inherit their family’s property. The Bible places responsibility for educating children squarely on the shoulders of their parents.
(Deut. 6:7, 11:19)
A Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against every government, and what no just government should refuse... If a government is breaking the Ten Commandments, it is unjust and we should not have to put up with it.
The Bill of Rights, also known as the first Ten Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, provided
the framework within which our beloved homeland was governed and regulated. Ten provisions
were written by America’s founding fathers to guide the government of the newly created United States. The provisions are rooted in the Judeo-Christian based Ten Commandments. These Commandments, and other Biblical principles, are the foundation of the Judeo-Christian ethic, which is the value system America’s Founding Fathers utilized when constructing America’s founding documents.
The Ten Commandments parallel the Bill of Rights. In fact, the Bill of Rights could have been named “The Ten Commandments for Government.” Those who have the basic knowledge of The Ten Commandments understand that they are written in a series of do and don’ts or “Thou shalt nots.” When people obey them, such as Commandment number six, which says ‘Thou shall not murder,” everyone else enjoys the right to not be murdered. In the same manner, when the U.S. federal government obeys its”Thou shalt nots” in the Bill of Rights, then “We the People” enjoy our rights to pursue life, liberty and happiness - as long as we do not violate the Ten Commandments against other citizens while enjoying our own pursuits.
When government obeys the “Bill of Rights” that safeguards the people’s rights, “We the People” enjoy freedom. When government violates the “Bill of Rights” that safeguards the people’s rights, it steals freedom from “We the People.” Since the Ten Commandments express the way God wants a civil society to function, when government violates one of the Bill of Rights and violates one of the Ten Commandments, it is violating the way God wants the people to live.
The Founding Fathers constructed rules for government that are so biblically based that
government cannot violate one of them without also violating at least one of the Ten Commandments and vice versa.
Our Inalienable Rights Reflected Through The Ten Commandments
The Ten Commandments Paraphrased
God is # 1 and all people are # 2s. Don’t think you are a #2 and I’m a #3. And most of all don’t think you are #1!
We Imitate Our Idols. We tend to imitate what and whom we idolize. Don't make any thing or any person # 1, either. Worshipping things or people warps why we're here.
3. Esteem God’s Name. Never ever use it disrespectfully.
4. Be a Sabbath-Day Seeker. Take one day a week to recognize your relationship with God.
Keep at least one day out of seven to be God-focused and to connect to your Creator.
5. Be Faithful to Your Family. Honor your father and mother and all family relationships.
6. Mercy Mitigates Murder. If you want to be a godly person, you must manifest mercy. Esteem the lives God gives others.
7. Sexual Sanctity Satisfies the Soul. The sanctity of marriage is the highest form of commitment among humans, and sexual loyalty builds trust and is the healthiest environment for raising children.
8. Stealing Rips Us Out of God’s Plan for Our Material Blessings. Stealing rips the perpetrator and the victim out of God’s plan for both their material blessings. Imagine how bad it is when the government does it on a mass scale. That is exactly what’s happening. Government initiated theft violates God’s plan for our blessings.
9. Lying Leads Us Astray. The truth is all there is to tell. Slander sells us short. Satan uses the legitimate truth about you in a harmful way. “Oh, look what you’ve done! You are such a terrible person! No one is going to respect you. Wait until people find out.”
Satan never wants the issue to be how Jesus, the Messiah, took upon Himself on the cross the full punishment for our sins to pay for our salvation.
I once read that our government had placed the Oathkeepers organization on the terrorist watch list because they wanted to keep the oath (to protect and defend the Constitution) they took when they entered the service or when they entered law enforcement. It is slander to say that taking an oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution is a terrorist’s act. When people use their government positions to cause one’s nation to slander others - which is to twist the truth about a legitimately good thing and to label it a bad thing - God will curse such a nation.
So, citizens actually vote for candidates who, when elected, bring curses upon America in many ways.
10. Coveting Clouds the Conscience.
You can want what other people have intensely enough so your heart becomes corrupted. You start thinking you have a right to hurt them or do what is unprincipled to obtain what they have. The more we allow ourselves to want what others have, without the checks and convictions God’s Holy Spirit brings into our hearts, the more we will feel justified in wanting it, and taking it from them by force, or by some other underhanded means. The more you hang around with people who have a coveting philosophy (like a political leader saying, “You did not build that”), the more you feel self-righteous about coveting what God has enabled others to develop, create or acquire.
The Founding Fathers recognized the need to guard against government coveting the people’s 4-P’s, meaning your person, your people, your position, and your possessions. Those four things are really under the direction of the sovereignty of God in our lives.
Government covets our persons by making laws that impede the basic self-sovereignty that is endowed to each person by Our Creator. It is an act of evil for governments to make so many laws and to bury them in thousands of pages of convoluted regulations, so that we are always unknowingly in violation of some regulation or statute. Government even has outlawed the basic right God gives us to pray and seek Him publicly according to the scriptures. Deceived government bureaucrats have outlawed praising God for the blessing He’s given America, which is what they do when they want to ban the national anthem being sung at school or other public sporting events. They are on the verge of being so ridiculous that they soon will try to outlaw basic principles of civility, like saying “God bless you” when someone sneezes.
Government covets your people by wanting children in all-day kindergarten, so it can usurp your family’s role in teaching values to our children. It covets your position by creating class warfare, and it covets your possessions, and tries to steal them threw through excessive taxation.
Government makes trade bills to transfer your job/position out of the country. These so-called free-trade policies are transferring our wealth out of the country, so certain products no longer are made in America. They also do this through environmental regulations that are not constitutional laws passed by Congress, but are policies made up by ill-informed and/or deceived people who use government power to steal away the ingenuity and prosperity America developed previously by following God’s ways — as established by America’s Christian Founding Fathers.
Government bureaucrats covet your person and your people. They covet your possessions. They covet your position. Those four things are only under the sovereignty of God. God only wants 10% through tithing. Why should we give the government 35% or 80%? That is government theft on a large scale. God is cursing our nation because of it.
The Ten Commandments express that which both divine love & divine justice require for human relationships! They express loving-justice! They guide individuals and nations to live and function well.
God’s Commandments provide the context and framework for blessing us. They come directly from God’s heart of love and compassion, and when we live by them we bless ourselves and others. The word “blessed” means to “be happy, well-off and content.” When we live by the Ten Commandments, we will be happy, well-off and content in our relationship to God, our families and to society. Therefore, our Founders set out to see to it that our government would help and not ever hinder our ability to be blessed by God, specifically by providing our Bill of Rights.
Against the New Sodom and Gomorrah
By Richard Moss MD
The entire month, each June, is a low point for the country. The unrestrained debauchery, the flaunting of pathologic deviancy, and the celebration of perversion - does it get any worse than “Pride Month?” Our ruling elites in all sectors are positively swept away by it, consumed as they are with promoting it – and virtue signaling their fealty and allegiance to it. It has become our most important holiday season.
Compare it with other notable celebrations. Consider Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. Mothers give birth to us, nurse, and raise us. Fathers take care of us, protect and provide for us. Moms and Dads are responsible for creating new life, preparing the next generation, and transmitting the values and wisdom of our culture and civilization. They perpetuate the species. Without them life would cease. Moms endure the pain of pregnancy, labor and delivery. Dads risk their lives and endure much hardship to ensure our survival. But that, of course, is is nothing compared with the contributions of the LGBTQIA++ community. That’s why mothers and fathers get a single day. Homosexuals and transgenders get a month.
Consider the men who lost their lives in military service defending the nation? They get a single day, Memorial Day. Veterans also get a day, Veterans’ Day. Our country? We get Independence Day, the Fourth of July, celebrating the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of our nation. But just a day. How about the birth of Jesus, the founder of Christianity, and, for Christians – God incarnate? Sorry, just a day. But the LGBT “community” – well, they get a month. Nothing, after all, is more sacred than the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community. Forget about Christianity or the Judeo-Christian tradition. The Rainbow is our new religion. We shall know a nation by its celebrations. And ours is truly satanic.
Major corporations promote the LGBT agenda: Target, Anheuser-Busch, the LA Dodgers (and all of Major League Baseball, for that matter), PepsiCo, Starbucks, GM, Walmart, Pfizer, Apple, Disney, BMW, and so on. Our schools and colleges, the media, banks, major equity firms, Big Tech, and our government at all levels collude in celebrating Pride Month while often denigrating traditional Christian culture and values. We are in the midst of a late-stage cultural collapse, a once great nation in moral free-fall. It is Sodom and Gomorrah – only worse.
Pride month is the epicenter of the cult-Marxist soul. It is the beating heart of the Left. Its obscenity and debauchery are precisely the point. Its purpose is to offend, upend, reject, smash, and destroy all icons and symbols, all conceptions of morality, tradition, wisdom, objective reality, and biology. It seeks to put an end to “norms” in general. To degrade our institutions, which they perceive as corrupt, a “social construct,” and part of the “power structure” - or take them over, which they have largely succeeded in doing. Most important, they seek to undermine the nuclear family and the recognition of the sexually dimorphic, “binary,” nature of humanity – of
man and woman (in the Bible that would be Adam and Eve).
Watch the politicians, government at all levels, stars, starlets, those transitioning and those
already transitioned, bureaucracies, and corporations prostrate themselves before the new gods and celebrate sodomy and the Rainbow Jihad. Next, they seek to normalize pedophilia. Have you heard the acronym, “MAP,” for Minor Attracted Persons? Or, their rallying cry, “We’re here, we’re queer, and we’re coming for your children,” proudly proclaimed at parades. I believe them. You should too.
Remember that pride is the deadliest of the seven deadly sins, the sin that conquered Lucifer (Satan) himself. It is the mother of all vices. Pride cometh before the fall. Hubris (pride) is followed by Nemesis (downfall). It is fitting that the Left and LGBT activists should embrace “pride,” dedicating a month to it, feeling, as they seem to, that they may redefine nature and reality, as if they themselves were as “Gods.” Pride, indeed.
Ultimately, they are setting the stage for a final push to destroy all “norms” and “normalcy.” And create new ones based on the new deviancy. And then to control us and to determine what we hear – and think. It is, ultimately, a prelude for totalitarianism – yes, including the death camps. They are building up to it, consolidating power, dehumanizing and indicting us, the “normies,” as they did the unvaxxed during Covid, jailing us, condemning us in their state media, establishing two standards of justice, controlling the levers of power, commandeering and weaponizing our institutions including the government and the deep state, and then the final surge and takeover with the cattle cars, gulags… and death camps. They loathe and despise the 50% that, in turn, reject them and their agenda - patriots that work hard, take care of their families, go to church, and love God and America.
Do our enemies celebrate pride month? Do China, Russia, Iran, Turkey, or North Korea worship the Rainbow? Do the Arab and Muslim world? I don’t think so. Rather they observe
in wonderment our depravity, the self-inflicted wounds, and the willful crack up of the most powerful nation in the world – as they plot to take advantage of our pathetic weakness and decadence.
Pride month must be broken – and replaced or countered by God Month, Faith Month or Prayer Month – take your pick - but a month dedicated to prayer, faith, and good works – and the reverential celebration of our biblical tradition. Pressure campaigns against “Pride” should also be undertaken (see Budweiser, Target, Disney, and so on). The following month, the month of July, we should celebrate Independence Month or, perhaps, Liberty Month, to commemorate the founding, the founding fathers, the signing of the Declaration of Independence – and the greatness of American history and its accomplishments - absent the usual apologies.
We must preserve this nation, its traditions, and way of life, for our sake and the sake of the world. Each of us must do what he can to salvage some remnant of the founding – athwart the demonic forces arrayed against it.

Romans 8:31
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:37-39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Reading the book of Romans in this time in history will reflect our love, honor and commitment to Christ Jesus. Can you read one chapter a day this month?
