CSN Sunday - LightWing Messages for 3/13/2022
“I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed.
This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them.
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.
Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days?
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry.
But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth.
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles.
The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
He protects all his bones; not one of them will be broken.
Evil will slay the wicked, and the haters of the righteous will be condemned.
The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.”
Psalm 34: 4-22 (Berean Study Bible)
FOUNDER’S MESSAGE:
I am taking some space here to offer sincere gratitude for all of the folks who have offered some form of donation to the Citizen Sentinels Network. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. And, I do know my words are truly not enough, but it is all we have at the moment. Know that those of you who have been called to donate or who have sent links of articles or videos to us, we thank you from our grateful hearts. There are a number of projects that CSN is involved in and for those of you who would want to know more about those projects, we can send a more specific enumeration of all that CSN is involved in during such a time as this. This is truly the outlet for citizens who love God and love our great Republic.
Today’s LightWing Messages are from a couple of godly ladies who I am proud to call friends. The messages were written on the same day, but touch on two different themes, yet in reality they touch on one theme and that is we are all God’s children and we all need a sincere and healthy personal relationship with our Heavenly Father.
The first message is from RAchel Toland from Oklahoma, who founded Remnant Rising with her husband a number of years ago. We featured a message in last week’s LightWing Messages of Mrs. Toland that she wrote in 2020: https://citizensentinelsnetwork.com/csn-sunday-lightwing-messages-for-3-6-2022/
Her message for today is truly a message for such a time as this. Many, many people need to grasp that our situation in this world is one that we have watched develop slowly over time. As warning signs showed up, several of God’s stewards did not want to become involved. Now, we must cry out: we must seek His face, seek His heart to receive His love and forgiveness and seek His mind to know His Will, and summon the courage to do His Will in the time we have.
Rachel Toland is a woman of serious faith and she is openly honest about her own struggles in seeking our Heavenly Father. She is of the mysterious millennial generation that older folks are not quite sure about. But there are many like her who sincerely seek a true relationship with our Father in Heaven. Remnant Rising is an effort to reach out to those of that generation, or really any generation and help them find their way in a very toxic spiritual environment at present.
The second message is from A. Dru Kristenev, who is currently living in Idaho. No stranger to the Citizen Sentinel Network, Kristenev writes with more of a focus on political events whose articles have been featured many times in our newsletters. She also is a regular contributor to the Canada Free Press. Her message is a memorial of sorts to two of her very dear friends who lost their lives in a tragic fire last year. I had the privilege of meeting Anne Marie and Steve Rogers in a little town in Mississippi in 2020. After the meeting, I went away with the hope that I would be able to meet with them and get connected on a deeper level. They were ‘good folks.’
Sadly, that meeting will have to wait a bit. There’s so much to do here on Earth in such a time as this. In case there is interest, there is also a link provided to another article that Ms. Kristenev wrote not long after the fire. It follows her memoriam for today.
These words are being freely offered and are being sent to you as part of the “LightWing Mission.” Please receive this message as a gift from those who care. They are only words that are being offered, freely, but some contain a deep message of faith, or a deeper expression of heart that readers can hopefully receive into their hearts. As it was written: “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 - KJV
May we humble ourselves, seek His face, repent, and turn from wickedness - even if that may mean to become more serious about what was most important to the son of God that he urged all of those who were his followers to put into practice. May we seek His Kingdom and His righteousness more fervently in such a time as this.

“Cry Out in Truth”
3/3/22
Last year, our Heavenly Father gave a scripture in Isaiah that wound up being a bedrock for a transformational year. It was a scripture that I had never read before, or if I had read it, it never stood out like it did last year. Isn’t it just like the Holy Spirit to make a scripture jump out at us?
It was Isaiah 48:1:
“Hear this, house of Jacob, who are named Israel
And who came from the waters of Judah,
Who swear by the name of the Lord
And invoke the God of Israel,
But not in truth nor in righteousness.”
That last line is what stuck out—the “not in truth” part. I asked God, “Do You mean we can call out to You, but not in truth?” I have never thought about that being a possibility. So, it prompted a journey where my husband and I examined our relationship with truth.
Questions came flooding in my spirit like, “Did I really rejoice with the truth? Was I ready to hear the Truth? Was I even capable of loving others because love rejoices with the Truth? Would I scoff or hate the truth or become offended at the Truth?”
As I began to ask these things, the Holy Spirit began to reveal truths that He wanted out of the way so that His love could flow through us. This was such a simple way of how we could decrease, and He could increase. When we allow the Holy Spirit of Truth to reveal the truth about us, God can refine us. But are we ready to hear the truth?
Many times, I wasn’t, and He knew that, yet He had a plan.
The Holy Spirit would remain silent many times when I asked Him questions until one day, I got a revelation. He wanted me to lay down some things and get ready to hear the truth. He knew I wasn’t ready to hear some things, so in His gentleness, He helped me get ready.
He revealed many things that could get in the way of receiving the truth with rejoicing. Things like pride, our own understanding, hopelessness, fear, arrogance, hatred of the truth, fear of the truth, etc. And many times, these things were hidden but the Holy Spirit knew they were there and just whispered the things we needed to lay down.
As I laid them down, tension would decrease, and it seemed to make room for peace. We were preparing the way of the Lord by doing this.
And then, He would have us ask Him for things like love, joy, rejoicing with the truth, patience, peace, love for others, gentleness, self-control, etc.
As we received and agreed with these fruits of the Spirit, He started to speak more and more as we prayed like this. He started to reveal more and more about us, our hearts, even our intentions. And honestly the truth about those things began to heal some of the most difficult and painful places in our souls and soon enough we found it healing the most painful and/or difficult places in relating to others. We saw God be faithful to His Word and watched the truth set us free!
If this is something that you feel the Lord wants you to do, God wants you to be encouraged through this process. The thing to remember is that He knows it all. He knows everything about you and He loves you. And just remember that. He has always known every bit of you and still called you to know Him. Throughout all the revelation that He may show you, He has loved you and always will. He shows you truth because He loves you. Trust in His love for you. (Here’s a song by Jeremy Camp that you might enjoy).
I wanted to share this because God really does delight in the truth and wants His children free. So many need breakthroughs in relationships right now. If you want help praying, please send us an email and we’ll schedule a time to pray.

In memoriam…
“A year of Life”
A. Dru Kristenev
3/3/22
One year and a couple thousand miles removed from a fire that took the physical life of two of my dearest friends and companions, although experiencing the conflagration still seems unreal, there is a note of finality to be played here, in this earthly setting.
Readying for bed last night in the semi-darkness, I inadvertently pulled out of my bag the pajamas I was wearing when I walked out of a burning house knowing that my sister and brother had already succumbed to the smoke. There’s an innate understanding that arises in a life-threatening circumstance, and inability to help them forced me to turn and go through the front door, numb and disoriented.
These thoughts came attached to the nightshirt I donned, once more leading me to think through the events of that near freezing, black hour that was lit by shooting and crackling flames. It is an event that, to my knowledge, still has no official explanation, an element that has made it difficult for family and those who were there to accept its reality. But it was real, and the laying to rest of loved ones was and is the first step of walking forward in a life that is now void of the unrestrained joy they radiated despite harsh health challenges.
Mourning interspersed with solace in knowing they’ve reached a heavenly abode, has been ever-present with mothers, children, sisters, family and friends, some who witnessed the blaze and others who felt the heat from a distance. A year has passed and, as always with difficult anniversaries, pain may occasionally jolt those left behind though with less intensity as the months have elapsed.
Perspective arrived by way of Scripture, which was delivered through Philippians 1 this morning. When Paul poses the question as to whether it's better to be drawn home to the Father or to continue in this earth, it brought an answer of sorts.
Each of us is given time in this earth to perform the duties that the Lord places on our hearts to fulfill. Steve and Ann Marie Rogers had, both independently and as an inseparable team, labored in their faith to share hope and joy with each person they met, not allowing the hurts of this world to encroach on that divine commission.
And this is what their family and friends miss most, their ability to pull smiles and wisdom together, bestowing each wherever they traveled, which accumulated miles throughout their lives haven't been calculated.
For Ann Marie, that journey crossed oceans and trekked continents, spreading the Gospel through song and a magical touch.
For Steve, captivating lyrics and melodies impressed Jesus’ message upon souls at home and along the roads of this nation.
The joy that emanated from these true hearts, who lived for the Lord, disseminating His Word at every opportunity, is not and will not be forgotten despite the passing of time. They made an indelible mark upon this world and us who continue here for a time.
There are lessons they imparted to us. First, that we live for the Lord, allowing Him to assume the concerns of this existence with His enduring love, provision and peace. Secondly, to consider Heaven but not set our eyes solely upon what is to come but to be involved with making this world a better place. How? By sharing His Word with all who would offer an ear that they may see the beauty, wonders and possibilities available to us in this world.
And third, to open our hearts and minds to receive our assignments, forge ahead faithfully to fulfill these tasks and engage in serving as we are called to do.
One of the last songs Ann Marie wrote, incorporating Steve’s input, addressed how we “know not what future plans You have” for us, where we are to go or what He proposes for us to accomplish, but that we are drawn to follow His direction willingly and purposefully.
It was the unfailing inspiration and encouragement of Steve and Ann Marie that has kept me on track to finish what He started in me. I am not the only one who has been a recipient of their aid and confidence to answer a strong calling. There are many of us who are walking in a path that they helped us to recognize and define. That is a gift beyond measure.
With all that is unfolding on the world stage, remembering Steve and Ann Marie a year after their passing, this is where today’s focus lies – that we consider the role we have, our assignments and how we will carry them out.
They have gone home to the Lord and the everlasting joy and peace of Heaven. We are not yet called to that place of comfort but are comforted that here is where the fruits of our labor may be manifested to the help of others. Is there a better lesson that we could receive from our mentors than to rejoice in working out our faith through service and fellowship? I’m thinking there is not.
